Through its Innovator Awards program, the foundation provides $200,000 grants for basic, translational, and clinical research projects that test novel, untested ideas in the area of IBD.
Researchers from any scientific discipline worldwide are eligible for funding. Researchers should hold an advanced degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent) and an academic position at a university, medical center, or research institution. Innovator Awards may have only one principal investigator, and funding will be awarded to his/her home institution; additional investigators may be listed as co-investigators.
Letters of Inquiry will be accepted beginning February 4 and must be received no later than March 15, 2019. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
