The is accepting applications for the 2019 Violet and Cyril Franks Scholarship.
The annual program supports graduate-level scholarly projects that use a psychological perspective to increase understanding of and reduce stigma associated with mental illness. The $5,000 scholarship is intended to support research which shows that stigma is a significant barrier to treatment and recovery for many of the 50 million Americans living with mental illness.
To be eligible, applicants must be a full-time graduate student in good standing at an accredited university and have demonstrated commitment to stigma issues.
