About the Organization: Founded in 2003 by a former teacher who served as legal counsel to Aspire Public Schools, a charter school management organization, recruits and develops talented students and professionals from diverse backgrounds to work for K-12 school districts, charter schools, and other education organizations.
Current Programs: EP recruits talented students and professionals with expertise in data and analysis, operations, strategy, and program and project management who can leverage those skills to improve educational opportunity and quality for underserved students. To that end, the organization's program includes , a ten-week program through which EP fellows are placed with one of two hundred leading education organizations, participate in workshops and other learning opportunities, and network with EP alumni; and , which provides recruits with full-time jobs at partner organizations and customized professional support for a fixed term of at least ten months.
