Santander Bank Awards $3.3 Million to Nonprofits

has announced grants totaling more than $3.3 million to over a hundred nonprofits in the Northeast.

Of the total, $1.2 million was awarded to programs that directly support economic and small business development in underserved communities. Grants include $200,000 to the in support of the organization's comprehensive wealth-building strategy for low-income residents; $100,00 to for the construction of  homes for low-income families in Boston and Philadelphia; and $100,000 to , the only nonprofit food business incubator and food manufacturing social enterprise in the greater Boston region.
