in Kansas City, Missouri, has announced a five-year, $13 million gift from the in support of the Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute.
The funds will enable the institute to expand its clinical care, education, and outcomes research programs, with a focus on neuro-oncology, cerebrovascular, and neurodegenerative disorders, and further develop the Saint Luke's Spine Center of Excellence. In 2019, the system plans to open the Saint Luke's Rehabilitation Institute, a rehabilitation hospital that will treat patients with advanced neurologic injury using state-of-the-art technology. The new gift from the foundation brings its total giving in support of Saint Luke's to $25 million.
