Rasmuson Foundation Launches New Alaska Arts Initiative

The Anchorage-based Rasmuson Foundation has announced a new initiative to stimulate innovation and adaptive leadership capacity in Alaska arts organizations.

With support from Rasmuson, EmcArts, the Foraker Group, and the Alaska State Council on the Arts, the New Pathways | Alaska initiative will work to enhance the adaptive capacity of participating organizations through a sequence of virtual workshops and face-to-face participant forums; on-site coaching as a follow-up to the workshops; individually facilitated “deep dives” into the innovation process; and follow-on grants of up to $75,000 for selected organizations.

Up to ten organizations will be selected to take part in each of two cycles. The applications period for the first cycle is now open, while the application period for the second cycle will open in May 2015.
