Newman's Own Awards $6.7 Million to Support Military Families

The in Westport, Connecticut, has announced twenty-six grants totaling $6.7 million in support of military men and women, veterans, and their families.

Awarded in honor of Senators Bob and Elizabeth Dole for their commitment to public service and their devoted leadership and support of veterans, the grants bring Newman's Own's support for veterans to $18.5 million since 2010. The , which is focused on supporting military caregivers and bringing crucial resources to help these often overlooked heroes, is one of the grant recipients and received support for the creation of its .

Former Senator Bob Dole (R-KS) is a decorated veteran of World War II and the recipient of many awards for his commitment and service to veterans. Former Senator Elizabeth Dole (R-NC) has helped military caregivers through her foundation, which is focused on supporting military caregivers and bringing crucial resources to help these hidden heroes.
