NCRP Names 2015 Impact Award Recipients

The has announced the recipients of its 2015 NCRP Impact Awards.

Now in its third year, the annual program honors grantmaking organizations that have shown effectiveness, leadership, and innovation in addressing some of the nation's most difficult challenges.

Awards were made in four categories: corporate foundations, large private foundations, small/midsize private foundations, and community foundations. Selected from a pool of organizations nominated by the general public and narrowed by NCRP, the 2015 award winners are the (corporate foundation), the (community foundation), the (small/midsize private foundation), the (small/midsize foundation), and the (large private foundation). All five will be honored in May at the 's annual conference in San Francisco.

"This year's 2015 NCRP Impact Awardees represent the best of philanthropy today," said NCRP executive director Aaron Dorfman. "These five foundations put underserved communities front and center in addressing critical issues such as civil rights, health care, and domestic violence. This year we're especially excited to honor two foundations in our midsize private foundation category, demonstrating the strides this field of philanthropy has made in effecting change."
