Mott Foundation Awards Nearly $3.2 Million in Grants

The in Flint, Michigan, has awarded fifteen grants totaling nearly $3.2 million to nonprofit organizations in the United States and elsewhere, reports.

Grant recipients include the , which was awarded $300,000 in support of efforts by its Flint office to turn distressed neighborhoods into livable communities; the , which will receive $237,000 in continued support for its Building Excellence, Sustainability and Trust (BEST) capacity building initiative; and , which was awarded $100,000 in support of its high-quality afterschool programming.

The foundation also awarded $1 million to the D.C.-based ; $100,000 to in support of its management of the Asset Funders Network; and $75,000 in general support to the in Croatia.
