Moore, Rockefeller Foundations Join Fund for Shared Insight

The has announced that the and foundations have signed on to support its efforts to improve philanthropy. 

Launched in 2014, the Fund for Shared Insight emerged from a belief that foundations can be more effective and make an even bigger difference in the world if they are open to listening to others and sharing lessons learned. As Shared Insight's eighth , the Moore Foundation joins the , the , the , , the , the , and the in committing at least $250,000 per year over three years to a joint fund that provides coordinated grant support to 501(c)(3) organizations working to use feedback loops, identify how feedback data may be best collected and whether there may be some perceptual and/or experience data that can serve as leading indicators of change, and support efforts to increase foundation openness in service of effectiveness. The Rockefeller Foundation also is providing additional funding that will benefit the organization’s collaboration and evaluation efforts.
