The has announced a four-year, $2.15 million grant to , an educational institution in New York City that empowers Jews to create and sustain vibrant, practicing, egalitarian communities of Torah learning, prayer, and service, in support of the organization’s programs and new .
The largest grant ever to the organization requires it to raise an additional $1 million, either in new or increased gifts, and designates a portion of the funds for external evaluation. Mechon Hadar aims to double the number of participants in its programs and expand its work with the Jewish community in the United States and Israel.
