Lincoln Center Cultural Innovation Fund Awards Innovation Fund Grants

, in partnership with the , has announced the inaugural grant recipients of the .

The pilot grant program is designed to encourage innovative strategies aimed at catalyzing greater access to — and participation in — cultural opportunities in diverse neighborhoods in central Brooklyn and the South Bronx. Each of the twelve grantees will receive funding of between $50,000 and $100,000 for initiatives ranging from the digitization of the history of the Caribbean diaspora in Brooklyn, to a monthly live-performance series featuring transgender and gender nonconforming artists from the South Bronx, to a project that combines the arts and the tenets of environmental and social justice campaigns to bring together residents and workers in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx. In addition to their grants, grantees will receive technical support and other resources from Lincoln Center aimed at furthering their work.
