Irvine Foundation Awards Grants Totaling $18.1 Million

The has announced December grants totaling $18.1 million in the areas of the arts, career readiness, immigrant integration, education, and civic engagement and empowerment.

Ranging in duration from eighteen months to three years, the grants include eight awarded through the final phase of the foundation's to advance gains and sustain the institutional future of expanded arts engagement in diverse California communities. In the  area of career readiness and living-wage work, the foundation awarded $400,000 over twenty months to to establish a loan-loss reserve and $2 million over two years to the to expand its Career Pathways to Success program in the Bay Area.
