Three grants totaling $1.9 million were awarded through the foundation's program, including a grant of $456,000 over two years to the for its Project ME (Millennial Engagement). In the area of , six grants totaling $4.1 million were awarded to organizations working in the areas of immigrant integration and voter and civic engagement, including a grant of $550,000 over two years to the and a grant of $1.2 million to the . And, through its program, the foundation awarded four grants totaling more than $2.6 million in support of linked learning, including a grant of $700,000 to the .
In addition, through its new Cross-Program, in which the California Democracy and Youth programs jointly fund grants, the foundation awarded $500,000 over two years to and $500,000 to , while was awarded a $500,000 Special Opportunities grant in support of its capital and endowment campaign.
