, has announced a $4.75 million grant from the to expand the pediatric bone marrow transplant unit at the in Jerusalem.
The grant will establish and equip the new unit, which will be located in the at and will be headed by Professor Polina Stepensky. HMO currently provides care to approximately a million residents annually in Jerusalem and neighboring communities, including the West Bank. In recognition of the grant, the completed BMT unit will be named for the Helmsley Charitable Trust.
