The in Muncie, Indiana, has announced Rapid Grants to more than twenty local nonprofits in support of their visioning, marketing, and branding efforts.
Marking its ninetieth year of grantmaking, the foundation awarded a total of $7.25 million in 2016. Recipients of Rapid Grants awarded during the second half of the year include Cancer Services of East Central Indiana, the Boys and Girls Club of Muncie, Harvest Soup Kitchen, and the Cornerstone Center for the Arts.
"The importance of strategic planning cannot be overstated," stated BBF president and COO Jud Fisher. "Organizations that aspire to greatness will not get there without having a solid, actionable plan in place. BBF recognizes the importance of supporting the behind-the-scenes work that helps organizations assess their strengths and weaknesses in order to make a plan to move forward.
