Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Receives $1.85 Million to Endow Chair

The has announced a $1.85 million gift from the to establish a chair in the foundation's honor.

Based on merit, the Mabel Dorn Reeder Foundation Honorary Chair will be awarded every five years to a tenured Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musician who demonstrates excellence in musical artistry, leadership, collegiality, and community engagement. Recipients will receive a one-time stipend of $10,000 at the start of their term for professional development.
