The has announced more than $9.9 million in discretionary and donor-advised grants and scholarship awards made during the fourth quarter of its fiscal year, which ended March 31.
Nearly half of that ($4.9 million) was awarded in support of health innovations. Recipients include , which works to provide healthcare for underserved children and families; , which provides volunteer home services; the , which provides provide vouchers for newborn hearing screenings; and the .
In addition, the foundation announced education-related awards totaling more than $3.4 million to schools, educational foundations, and nonprofits, with an additional $193,071 in scholarships to individuals.
And it awarded $561,533 in the area of arts and culture, including grants to in support of the organization's arts education programs; , a multidisciplinary arts organization that promotes indigenous arts and culture through community-based programs; and the , , , and .
