has announced a $1 million grant to the in support of four research projects around the country.
The grant was awarded as part of the and LOFT Cares Cards program, which is rolled out every October in conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Since the program's inception in 2005, the company has raised more than $3.8 million to fund clinical and translational research worldwide.
The recipients of the most recent round of BCRF grants are Carol J. Fabian, professor of internal medicine at the and director of the ; Dawn Hershman, assistant professor of medicine at the division of medical oncology; Kathy D. Miller, associate professor at the ; and Annette L. Stanton, professor in the departments of psychology and psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences at the .
