3M Commits $26 Million to University of Minnesota Campaign

The has announced a $26 million commitment from the in support of the next generation of scientists, engineers, and business leaders.

The company's pledge to the university's ten-year, $4 billion "Driven" campaign includes $8 million for scholarships and outreach programs, with the goal of building a pipeline of diverse global talent and further integrating STEM into K-12 education in the state. As part of the commitment, the will receive $3.6 million for scholarships, K-12 outreach, and programming support; the will receive $2.83 million; the will receive $1.05 million; and the will receive $600,000.
